What's on the ballot
Saanich voters choose one Mayor, eight Councillors and four CRD Directors, plus school trustees for School Districts 61 and 63. There is also one non-binding question: "Do you support Saanich and Victoria becoming one municipality?"
Neighbours and community first
I have lived in Saanich for 22 years and worked as a realtor for 32. I helped found Save Our Saanich after residents came together to stop $150 million in borrowing without a direct vote, and I have served on the board of the North Quadra Community Association. I am running for Saanich Council and CRD Director because good governance starts with listening.
- Protect the environment: trees, green spaces, wildlife corridors and park buffers. Growth should work with nature, not against it.
- Balanced transportation: safer connections for drivers, cyclists, transit users, pedestrians and people with mobility challenges.
- Transparent governance: residents should see how and why decisions are made.
- Balanced development: gradual, respectful growth shaped with real neighbourhood input.
- Fiscal responsibility: every municipal dollar comes from the people who live and work in Saanich.
